YOUR DAY AS OUR PRODUCTION MANAGER
In this role, you'll guide your production team through each day's workflow, train associates in wire-processing techniques, ensure accurate timekeeping, and maintain 100% compliance with product specifications and IPC standards. You'll monitor bottlenecks, streamline processes, and oversee operations of wire-cutting, stripping, and crimping equipment while coordinating maintenance needs. You'll enforce OSHA regulations, uphold safety practices, track KPIs, and maintain precise production records. You'll communicate expectations clearly, support customer satisfaction, and partner with the Branch Manager on performance conversations-all while driving the team toward achieving business goals.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree/certification a plus)
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Industrial manufacturing experience preferred
- Wire harness or cable assembly experience preferred
- Epicor/Kinetics experience is a plus
- OSHA 10‑hour, First Aid, CPR, and BBP certifications are a plus
- Proficient in basic math skills (add, subtract) and use a tape measure.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of wire harness components (terminals, connectors, wire types) and assembly processes is preferred.
- 18 years of age.
