Job Description
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across multiple operating entities within LTL Management Group. This role supports the Senior Accountant by handling day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring timely transaction processing, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multi-entity bookkeeping in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Record daily financial transactions including sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries
· Maintain general ledger accuracy across all supported brands
· Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
· Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
· Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals
· Prepare and execute payments (checks, ACH, wires)
· Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies
· Generate and distribute customer invoices
· Record incoming payments and apply to appropriate accounts
· Monitor ageing reports and follow up on outstanding balances
· Assist with payroll data preparation and verification
· Ensure accurate recording of payroll entries in the accounting system
· Ensure proper inter-company transaction tracking and reconciliation
· Maintain organised financial documentation and audit trails
· Assist in preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules
· Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting best
· Support the Senior Accountant with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
· Assist with process improvements and system enhancements
Qualifications
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
· 2–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment
· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems)
· Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP knowledge a plus)
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
· Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
