REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:Under the direction of the Vice President of Student Services.Provide academic counseling services to general and special program student populations.Assist students with problems related to academic progress.Participate in faculty and departmental meetings.Participate in all faculty training days.Ability to develop working relationships with college faculty, staff, and community groups.Observe, support, and enforce the regulations, policies and programs of the District.Refer students to appropriate college resources for information on other student services.Work cooperatively within the college community.Foster a positive working environment that is free from harassment, prejudice and/or bias.Demonstrate a respect for the dignity of everyone.
