PAC3 Layup Technician
Hours: 1st Shift
Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM
Friday 6AM-10AM

Job Description:
Measures and applies various materials into tools using small hand tools to create Armor panels under the direction of a Supervisor or Lead.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to learn and/or layup parts of simple to medium complexity.
• Learns and follows resident planning (work instructions) to layup up to 4ea different materials based on stages of Layup. Able to measure/mix adhesive/glue.
• Learns and follows resident planning (work instructions) to remove weights and take apart / put together Tooling to complete the layup.
• Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and good manual dexterity are strongly needed to perform job correctly.
• Ability to use your hands with precision to apply materials to a part without wrinkles, bubbles or imperfections. Must be quick and confident with hands to meet department and individual goals.
• Correctly documents relevant data for material traceability purposes.
• Ability to follow work instructions to ensure parts are made per customer requirements.
• Visual inspection of both parts and tools for damage or quality issue.
• Must be dependable, maintain regular attendance, and arrives on time daily
• Ability to cross train and accept additional responsibilities, including, but not limited to different stages of PAC-3 Layup and vacuum bagging parts.
• Performs other related duties as required

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
- Continuous standing on concrete surface.
- Must be able to lift and move weights with a partner and use "poles" to move weights ranging from 88-125 lbs.
