The MDS Coordinator supports the coordination and completion of clinical assessments and documentation in accordance with applicable guidelines and organizational practices. This role works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate and timely assessment processes.
Responsibilities may include overseeing assessment schedules, participating in care planning activities, reviewing documentation for consistency, and supporting data accuracy related to resident care. The MDS Coordinator may also assist with internal processes related to quality measures, reporting, and compliance expectations.
This position serves as a resource to staff and leadership regarding assessment processes and contributes to the overall coordination of care and documentation practices within the organization.
