LTC Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. This role offers the opportunity to work with residents in both short-term rehab and long-term care settings while supporting mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver physical therapy interventions under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercise programs, ambulation training, transfer practice, and balance activities
- Observe resident performance and communicate changes or concerns to the PT
- Support residents in working toward individualized rehabilitation goals
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation and progress notes
