POSITION: Equipment Specialist – PQDR, Inventory & NSN
LOCATION: Albany, GA (On-Site Work)
STATUS: Full time – Contingent Hire
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Experience: 5 years of related experience with supporting Product Quality Deficiency Reporting (PQDR) investigations, failure analysis coordination, corrective action tracking, and supplier engagement to resolve fielded system defects.
- Must Haves: Extensive experience with inventory control, National Stock Number (NSN) assignment, and supply documentation for infantry weapons and associated subsystems to support readiness and sustainment operations.
- Citizenship and Clearance: US Citizen with ability to obtain Active Secret Clearance
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% to support client meetings and requirements
- Skills: Relevant DoD acquisition, logistics and inventory experience; Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong documentation and technical reporting skills, Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Client Familiarity: USMC
- Tools Familiarity: DoD 5000 Manual, DoD/IC Acquisition Process, DAU acquisition, logistics and sustainment courses
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Supports Product Quality Deficiency Reporting (PQDR) investigations, failure analysis coordination, corrective action tracking, and supplier engagement to resolve fielded system defects.
- Manage inventory control, National Stock Number (NSN) assignment, and supply documentation for infantry weapons and associated subsystems to support readiness and sustainment operations.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver required documentation, reports, and analyses
- Coordinate with Government IPTs and stakeholders
- Perform duties in direct support of Marine Corps
