Job Summary
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program looking for a Rehab Specialist Supervisor and Rehab Coordinator. Both positions provide clients and families with resources to help them manage on a daily basis. Coordinating appointments with various healthcare professionals is necessary. Rehab Coordinator will maintain open communication with families and clients. Proper documentation such as progress notes and treatment plans are mandatory as well. Rehab Coordinator will visit with client 4x-6x per month. Supervisors has overall responsibility for rehabilitation services, including:(i) Developing and assuring that rehabilitation services meet the needs of the individuals served by the program; and(ii) Providing oversight for the daily program of rehabilitation services. Other duties included but not limited to.
Duties
- Attends treatment team meetings once a month
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to meet the needs of patients.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Complete and turn in paperwork on a weekly basis
- Participate training and support to staff on best practices in rehabilitation services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in rehabilitation practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in a mental health role within a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, and administrative support functions is essential.
- Experience with BIRP notes and IRP's is a plus
- Proficiency in using a laptop or computer
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with clients, families, and staff members.
- Supervisors must be license as a licensed mental health professional or a certified rehab counselor.
- Direct Care Staff At a minimum, have:(i) A bachelor's degree in a health-related field;(ii) An associate's degree in a health-related field;(iii) 30 hours, or their equivalent, of college credit toward a bachelor's degree in a health-related field; or(iv) 1 year of work experience in a supervised mental health setting.
Rate of Pay: Negotiable based on experience and position
