What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant - Part Time position at Lt. Col. Matt Urban Human Services Center of WNY?
Perform general and preventative maintenance and janitorial work; cleaning, trash removal, stocking supplies, painting and repair work, plumbing and minor carpentry and electrical work as needed. Cleaning of floors, carpets, restrooms, offices, common areas in apartment buildings, rehab/cleaning of apartments, keeping grounds and parking lots clean and free of debris, seasonal work such as grass cutting, yard/garden work and snow removal, seasonal air conditioner installation and removal from offices and apartments, requisition of maintenance and building supplies, ability to work as part of a maintenance team. Availability to be on a rotating on-call list for emergencies and after hours. Must have a driver's license and clean driving record.
After successfully completing 90 days of employment, the pay rate increases to $19.22 per hour.
