Position Summary
The Design Assistant – Wovens will support the Design and Merchandising teams in the development of the French Toast school uniform line. This role involves assisting in sketching and rendering styles, managing samples, and collaborating across departments to ensure a smooth and successful product development process.

Collaborates with: Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Sourcing, Production, Marketing, and Sales teams
Education
Associate’s degree (2-year minimum) in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field
Experience
0–2 years of experience in apparel design, color development, graphics, or patternmaking

- Sketch and color new woven styles and assist in creating Mac Pacs for production
- Fit and render woven styles in 3D using Browzwear for use in catalogs and sales presentations
- Maintain organization of sample closets and racks
- Update woven Mac Pacs and manage style data in the PLM system
- Assist in creating end-of-season category boards to evaluate sales trends and identify growth opportunities
- Steam samples as needed for fittings and presentations
- Support the Sales team with showroom upkeep and preparation
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to help create product-focused content
- Assist in addressing Design to Sales (DTS) inquiries and related initiatives

Education

- Familiarity with 3D design software (e.g., Browzwear) and PLM systems is a plus
