We are seeking a dedicated Project Architect for a full-time, on-site position located in Bigfork, MT. In this role, the Project Architect will lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities include creating detailed architectural designs, overseeing teams, managing submittals, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring the timely and successful delivery of projects. The role will also involve fostering sustainable design solutions and incorporating environmentally responsible practices.
- Strong foundation in Architecture, Project Management, and the ability to manage all aspects of architectural design and implementation
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and preparing and reviewing construction submittals
- Knowledge in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) practices to integrate sustainability into designs
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively work with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Professional degree in Architecture and architecture licensure preferred
- Experience with design in mass timber and CLT is a plus
