The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to teach a wide range of undergraduate mathematics courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. RESPONSIBILITIES: Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Teach undergraduate Mathematics courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain regular office hours and provide academic support and mentoring to students in person and electronically. Advise students regarding academic planning, degree completion, internships, and career pathways. Contribute to the growth and success of LSUA's Mathematics program, including support of the LSU Online partnership. Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities, including committee assignments and faculty governance. Engage in professional development activities that support teaching effectiveness and disciplinary expertise. QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications: Master's degree in mathematics or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution. Candidates holding a graduate degree in another discipline with at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in Mathematics will also be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching undergraduate Mathematics courses. Demonstrated excellence in classroom and online teaching. Familiarity with or experience in online course development and delivery.
