We are seeking an energetic and motivated Mat Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic fitness team. Responsibilities
- Lead group mat Pilates classes by demonstrating exercise routines clearly and effectively, ensuring proper technique and safety.
- Design tailored Pilates programs that accommodate various skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
- Motivate clients through energetic coaching, providing modifications and progressions to maximize results.
- Educate participants on body mechanics, biomechanics, physiology, and anatomy to enhance their understanding of movement principles.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during classes, including manual handling techniques and first aid procedures when necessary.
- Maintain a positive class atmosphere that encourages participation, confidence, and enjoyment for all attendees.
- Support the promotion of classes through excellent customer service and client communication skills, contributing to the growth of the fitness program.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Pilates instruction with certification in Pilates (mat-based preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to teach exercise routines effectively in a group setting with motivational coaching skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards including CPR/AED certification and first aid training.
- Experience working in a health club or fitness environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for helping clients achieve their fitness goals through engaging instruction.
