LSSI is hiring a part-time Cook at Shady Oaks. Prepare and serve meals to facility clients in accordance with menu plans, using standardized recipes and in accordance with clients' physician prescribed diets.
Schedule: Monday & Tuesday and every other Saturday & Sunday.

- Prepare and serve meals to facility clients in accordance with menu plans, using standardized recipes and in accordance with clients' physician prescribed diets.
- Following menu plans, prepare a variety of high-quality food in specified quantities, using standardized recipes.
- Keep work area clean and follow all sanitation guidelines.
- Perform all duties following safety guidelines and requirements in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
- Stock needed items; food, drinks, supplies etc.
- Follow meal plans/menus as determined by the food service manager or program director.
- Maintain inventory of food, equipment, and supplies in the kitchen area.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to meet extensive physical requirements of the position.
- Ability to read & write English adequately to complete required documentation.
- Ability to communicate adequately with clients, families, & co-workers.
- Valid Driver's License; preferred but not required.
