POSITION
The Fleet Mechanic is a mid-level maintenance position, and their primary function is to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair semi-trucks, trailers, chassis and other equipment leased or owned by TLD. Fleet Mechanics work under the Lead Technician and should require minimal support from others. Work is typically performed in a shop setting but may be performed outside and travel may be required as deemed necessary by maintenance leadership.

Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Graduated from and accredited school studying Diesel Technology (Preferred)
- Advanced Mechanical Skills and Knowledge
- 2 Years of experience performing diagnostics and repair on class 8 trucks and trailers.
- Good Organizational, verbal and written skills.
- Ability to focus and multi-task; Detail oriented.
