NorBella Savage, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Chef/Cook to join our team!
NorBella Savage is located in Savage, MN, just off Egan Drive next to a nice residential neighborhood and community park. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our 40-unit apartment-style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. Shifts Available: Full-Time
Wage: $17.50-$22.50 per hour
- Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
- Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
- Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
- Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
- Large volume cooking experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
- Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to divide or multiply recipes to meet the quantity needs for service
