The Debt Management Department is currently seeking a skilled, reliable, positive employee to join the Full Collection Outsourcing team.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Initiating contact with delinquent members in an attempt to bring loan and negative share accounts current and into good standing.
- Detailed conversations with members regarding their delinquency and documentation of client’s data processor of all activity performed on member accounts.
- Attempting phone contact with delinquent members on a 2, 3 or 5 day follow up, as directed by LSI and the client.
- Abide by all Full Collection Outsourcing Collection policies, procedures and requirements.
- Skip tracing.
- Communicate with all members and contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
- Meet or exceed the minimum department requirements.
- Abide by all company policies and procedures as listed in the Employee Handbook and/or as directed by management.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Competencies:
Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend complex instructions in an accurate and timely manner. Strong communication skills. Will be emailing Clients and Members/Customers.
Mathematical Skills: During the collection process, we are working with dollars and cents, possibly multiplication and division depending on the extent of delinquency and the payment arrangements necessary to bring the account current.
Computer Skills: Type approximately 40 net words per minute and have the ability to troubleshoot basic computer issues.
Physical Demands/Work Environment: While multi-tasking (reading, typing, and listening) the employee is regularly required to sit for an extended time, use a keyboard, and talk to callers via a hands-free headset. The noise level in the contact center is usually moderate, but at times there could be 100 employees on interactions. If working remotely, the noise level is minimal.
Hours:
- All shifts are Central time.
- 10:30am-7:00/7:30pm (depending on a 30 or 60 minute lunch period). 2 late nights per week required until 10:00pm.
- 8:30am-5/5:30pm (depending on a 30 or 60 minute lunch period). 2 late nights per week required until 8:00pm.
- 8:30am-5/5:30pm (depending on a 30 or 60 minute lunch period). 2 late nights per week required until 7:00pm.
- Two 4-hour Saturday shifts per month are required for these positions. If working a Saturday, agents will work a 4-hour shift the Friday immediately before.
Compensation:
- This role is set at $20.00-22/hour base rate, depending on experience any applicable shift or bilingual differential that may apply. In addition, eligibility to qualify for performance and attendance based monthly incentives.
Requirements:
- Previous consumer collection experience is required.
- Positive and professional demeanor.
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience and comfort with Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and good multi-tasking skills.
Work From Home:
Work-from-home eligibility is not guaranteed and will be based on performance and schedule adherence. Candidates must be prepared to work onsite as required.
