What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder position at LSI Staffing?
As a grid welder you will operate and handfeed a semiautomatic welding machine to produce high quality grids used in our manufacturing process. No certification required training is provided.
18$hr Pay weekly, Weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Operate semi automatic grid welding machines safely and efficiently
- Hand feed metal components into the machine
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper weld quality
- Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet standards
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety rules and company procedures
- Work as part of a fast paced production team
Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude or machine operation experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and with good attendance
- Willing to learn and follow instructions
- Forklift Experience is required
