Job Title: Mechanically Inclined Helper

Summary:

The Mechanically Inclined Helper assists maintenance technicians, mechanics, and production staff with general mechanical tasks, equipment setup, repairs, and preventive maintenance. This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, eager to learn, and comfortable working around machinery in an industrial or warehouse setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist mechanics or technicians in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.

• Help with disassembly and reassembly of parts, belts, gears, motors, and other mechanical components.

• Perform basic preventive maintenance such as lubrication, cleaning, and part replacement.

• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.

• Help with installation or setup of new machines or production equipment.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

• Support team members with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Basic mechanical knowledge or previous experience in a maintenance, warehouse, or construction environment preferred.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.

• Willingness to learn and follow directions from lead technicians.

• Strong work ethic and attention to safety.

Summary:

The Electrical Helper assists electricians and maintenance staff with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This position is ideal for candidates interested in developing skills in industrial or facility electrical work under the supervision of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist electricians with wiring, conduit installation, and equipment connections.

• Help in troubleshooting electrical issues and replacing fuses, outlets, switches, and fixtures.

• Pull wire, mount electrical boxes, and label circuits as instructed.

• Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean and organized.

• Follow electrical safety standards and company policies.

• Learn to read and interpret basic electrical drawings or schematics.

• Support preventive maintenance activities on lighting, motors, and control panels.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Basic understanding of electrical systems or interest in electrical trade.
