LSI Staffing is seeing a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a client in Northeast Houston. We're looking for candidates with forklift experience and strong computer skills, especially in handling shipping and receiving paperwork.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments

• Accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation

• Use forklift equipment to load/unload materials

• Track inventory and maintain warehouse organization

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

• Forklift experience required

• Strong computer skills (experience with shipping systems a plus)

• Experience handling shipping/receiving documents

• Good attention to detail and organizational skills

• Must be dependable and safety-minded

Logistics Coordinator

A growing market leader in quality driven metals manufacturing, is searching for a self-driven Logistics Representative to join our dynamic team.  The primary responsibilities will include all facets of logistics of inbound and outbound shipments.



Job Responsibilities:

• Manage, schedule, and coordinate companywide logistics for all methods of inbound, outbound, and third-party transportation
• Preparing shipping documentation for shipments promptly and accurately
• Identify cost variations in carrier rates, management of damage claims, and other expense categories making decisions that emphasize continuous cost and efficiency improvements shipping, distribution, carrier activity (cost and service).
• Assist in practices that are compliant with the company brand of outstanding quality and service
• Create, print, and ensure correct labeling on shipments and bill of ladings.
• Multitask by staying on top of pending orders and customer requests

• Experience within shipping, export, logistics and customs administration
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Must be Proficient at operating a forklift in warehouse activity, product flow, and material handling.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented fast paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent motivational skills. Works with a team but also self-motivated to work alone
• Excellent time management, and the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet multiple deadlines in a timely manner
• Able to problem solve through critical thinking
• Dedication to customer satisfaction; “whatever it takes to get the job done” attitude.
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy.

• Read and understand Company work orders.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
