LSI IS HIRING FOR EXPERIENCED CNC OPERATORS in the Fort Worth area!
- Setup and Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate various CNC machinery (e.g., lathes, mills, grinders) to perform close-tolerance machining operations.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols, and job orders to determine operational sequences.
- Tool Management: Select, install, and adjust the appropriate cutting tools, holders, and fixtures, performing necessary tool offsets and adjustments to maintain part quality.
- Material Handling: Load raw materials (blanks, bars, or stock) into the machine and safely unload finished or partially finished parts.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor machine performance and conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Program Edits: Perform minor adjustments or basic edits to G-code programs as necessary to achieve optimal performance and correct machining issues.
- Maintenance: Execute routine preventative maintenance checks on the machine to ensure longevity and minimize downtime, reporting any serious mechanical issues.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
Shift: 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $22-$25 DOE
