Role Purpose Statement
As Vice President of Operations for the West Market, you will be at the forefront of executing our strategic vision within your assigned region. You will be responsible for profit and loss accountability for all Customer Service Centers (CSCs) in your territory, driving business forward with operational excellence. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with functional leaders to maintain a competitive edge in the local market, and creating and implementing best-value solutions that resonate with customers, propelling us to the forefront of industry innovation. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement, both in terms of efficiency and quality/safety standards, and identify opportunities to drive regional performance.
Location: In any of the following cities: Anchorage, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Portland, Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Austin, and Houston
Main Accountabilities
- Responsible for the regional profit & loss and accountable for delivering quality & compliance in the airline catering markets
- Implementation and execution of best practice processes and standards in the region, actively promoting process-orientation and driving transformation
- Leads restructuring and transformation activities in the region, drives Operational Excellence/LPS programs and Operations Value Chain activities
- Ensures compliance with safety, health, environmental quality guidelines as well as local regulations and customer requirements
- Contributes to the definition of the regional strategy and participates in key strategic initiatives
- Provides proactive feedback and input on best practice processes and standards, representing the interests of the region
- Responsible for the definition of the region’s footprint/infrastructure requirements to ensure best value solutions for customers
- Drive the company’s long term sustainability goals in the region of responsibility by implementing LSG best practices and proactively developing local guidelines
- Participate in customer tenders (retention/new business) and proposing best value solutions in the specific region of responsibility.
- Provide input and feedback to the IT and digitization teams on development and implementation of IT/digitization best practices in the region
- Steer/Monitor/Push people initiatives and actions geared towards improving the employee experience a in the CSCs aiming at increased productivity, improved eNPS and lowering cost of turnover.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- University degree in finance, business, economics, engineering or associated disciplines or
- 7 – 10 years’ experience in a managing large matrix organization preferably in a production environment manufacturing or airport
- Exposure and experience in an international environment and intercultural sensitivity
- Proven communication, negotiation and change management skills.
- Strong Process Management orientation
- Comfortable in dealing with a variety of counterparts, internal and external
- Extensive travel required (50-75%)

SALARY: The starting base pay for this position ranges from $170,000-$200,000 (lowest geographic market). Base pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this role includes a significant executive incentive plan and other financial benefits as part of the total compensation package. This role is eligible to participate in a full range of medical and wellness benefits on day one of employment.
