DESCRIPTION OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Retrieve all relevant flight information from Dispatch, including gate number, aircraft number, meal counts, and any special requirements.Coordinate all aspects of international flights provisioning, including:Verifying and overseeing proper packing and loading of catering items.Checking flight carts in the kitchen for accuracy and readiness.Ensuring proper placement of catering equipment on aircraft.Perform final hand-off of galley items to flight attendants.Communicate operational changes or special instructions to all relevant departments in a timely manner.Immediately report any issues (e.g., late trucks, meal shortages) to Dispatch.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Job RequirementsMust be able to read, write, and speak English.Must be able to work in hot and/or cold environments.Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, climb, and stand for the duration of the work shift.Must have strong organizational skills and be adaptable to frequent operational changes.Must be able to pass a 10-year criminal background check to obtain an airport SIDA/AOA badge with Customs Seal clearance.Must comply with all Ramp, AOA, Safety, and Security rules and regulations.Must be able to push heavy loads (airline carts) and lift up to 30 lbs.Must possess a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record.Must successfully complete both classroom and on-the-job driver training programs.Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, along with a professional appearance and attitude.Must be able to understand, apply, and follow all safety standards.Must be able to operate catering carts, ramps, and other airline catering equipment.Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, mid-day, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedules are subject to change due to shift bidding.
