Senior Sales Specialist - Desktop Workflow Solutions

To sell the LSEG Workspace platform to the front, middle, and back office of financial and corporate institutions. The position will develop existing account relationships, cultivate new business, and cross- and up-sell other LSEG products and services. Subsequently, expanding the LSEG Fixed Income and Equities communities covering rates, credit, exchange traded, and over-the-counter instruments.

Essential Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Drive community adoption of the LSEG Workspace platform in the Fixed Income and Equities marketspace in the US & Canada - leading to sustained, consistent sales of recurring revenue to achieve annual sales target.
  • Proactively work to develop and execute sales strategies for accounts, such as to introduce new value workflow propositions including competitive displacement programs at new and existing accounts in collaboration with Account Managers.
  • Target and drive large scale enterprise-wide renewals and new opportunities related to end-user workflow in new and existing customers.
  • Lead client meetings to carry out product demonstrations and presentations with the objective of winning new business.
  • Lead sales campaigns to achieve increased product market penetration.
  • Collaborate with the Shared Workflows Proposition and sales readiness teams to feed product ideas and provide client feedback.
  • Maintain accurate rolling sales forecast more than assigned monthly quota in Salesforce and build customer contact database.

Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry experience and associated number of years of experience:

  • Outstanding closing/sales and relationship management skills at all client levels
  • Strong, polished presentation skills
  • Articulate, enthusiastic, self-motivated and ability to prioritize.
  • Strong telephone sales and presentation skills with clients/prospects at all levels
  • Minimum of 5 years experience selling financial Data Desktop solutions.
  • Prior Account Management/Sales experience working with Banks and Investment Managers.
  • Proven track record meeting sales quotas and pipeline management
  • Strong client relationships and a proven track record of providing a high level of customer service.
  • Experience identifying and cultivating new accounts and use of prospecting tools (i.e. LinkedIn)
  • Superior communication and negotiating skills and be a strong team collaborator

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
