Business Development Manager

The role, at a glance

This position blends strategic business development with relationship management. You'll build client relationships, identify new opportunities, maintain an active pipeline, and collaborate with Ownership, Project Managers, and Marketing to support the firm's growth. It's a strong fit for someone who enjoys connecting with people, developing long-term partnerships, and helping shape the future of a growing A/E firm.

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute business development initiatives that support the firm's growth strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target markets.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities and client activity within the CRM.
• Partner with Ownership, Directors, and Project Managers to develop account strategies and pursue new work.
• Collaborate with Marketing to align business development efforts, campaigns, events, and client communications.
• Research market trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities to inform growth strategies.
• Represent Warehaus at industry events, conferences, networking functions, and community organizations.
• Coordinate client meetings, follow-up activities, and relationship-building initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion CRM best practices and leverage data to support business development decisions and reporting.
• Foster collaboration across the firm by sharing client insights, market intelligence, and pursuit opportunities.

What you’ll bring

• 5 years of business development experience.
• Experience executing business development initiatives.
• Experience within Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related professional services required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and technology skills with demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook, CRM software, and other digital collaboration tools.
