Supply Chain Engineering Manager

Summary Of Role

This Director, Supply Chain Engineering leads the strategy and execution of engineering functions including Industrial Engineering, Network Optimization, Capacity Planning, Automation, and Governance within a distribution network.

They develop strategies to enhance productivity, scalability, service, and cost efficiency, collaborating with Operations, IT, Finance, and other teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineering strategies supporting network growth and efficiency.
• Lead functions such as facility design, automation, capacity planning, and network optimization.
• Establish standards, governance, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Build and develop a high-performing engineering team through coaching and continuous improvement.
• Support network design, capacity strategies, and facility expansions.
• Lead automation initiatives to improve productivity and safety, partnering with IT and supply chain systems.
• Establish KPIs, conduct analytics, and develop business cases for capital investments.
• Serve as an engineering advisor to leadership, aligning priorities across departments.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 10 years of leadership in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering, with experience managing teams and large-scale operations.
• Expertise in distribution networks, automation, facility design, capacity planning, and analytics.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proficiency in engineering tools, automation technologies, and business intelligence platforms.

• Requires collaboration, teamwork, and face-to-face interaction; hybrid work environment.
• Up to 25% travel; primarily based at the company’s Phoenix office.
