Responsibilities: Cover key institutions such as the White House, State Department, Congress, and think tanks, producing breaking news, analysis, and features; report on policy formulation, implementation, and impact; create digital-first multimedia stories in collaboration with video journalists; develop a network of sources across government and policy circles; analyze China's influence across RFE/RL regions.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 10 years of reporting experience in Washington on foreign affairs, strong understanding of U.S. foreign policy, excellent digital journalism skills, collaboration with multimedia teams, editorial judgment, and fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
