Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review month-end journal entries for all cost transactions.
- Reconcile inventory accounts and maintain supporting schedules.
- Maintain and analyze product costing, including labor, overhead, and machine rates.
- Analyze manufacturing variances and propose corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory valuation, WIP, and manufacturing absorption accounts for accuracy.
- Serve as a finance resource for costing, inventory, and production processes within the ERP system.
- Review cost structures and financial postings to ensure accurate reporting and support audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Three years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing or construction.
- Strong understanding of standard costing and inventory accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational skills supporting audits and financial reviews.
- Ability to challenge data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
