What are the responsibilities and job description for the Florist/Event Designer position at LS Floral and Decor?
WHO WE ARE
We are an event design company specializing in weddings and multicultural events. We have an office and design studio in Blackwood, NJ and produce events in the NJ, Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Our job is to transform a space with fresh florals and fabrics! We are a small, but growing company looking for motivated, creative, and efficient professionals who love to work directly with products.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
An Event Designer and Florist to manage all areas of fresh flowers including personals and arrangements on a per project basis. These pieces will then be set at events in NJ, PA and DE area during event season. Our studio is where we play, make samples, test, and make visual pieces for our events. The event designer will be exposed to all areas of this operation from concept to delivery. Some arrangements may be done in our studio or directly on event site.
Must be local (within 30 minutes of driving distance to 08012) Applicants outside of this area will not be reviewed.
COMPETENCIES
- Professional experience as an event florist
- Knowledge of fresh flowers
- Processing of flowers
- Tenacious drive/Go-getter attitude
YOU SHOULD HAVE
- atleast 3 years of experience as a florist
Individuals will need their own form of transportation to commute to the office and valid state driver's license.
