What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Groundskeeper position at LS Church?

Expectations:
- Senior Groundskeeper must have 5 years minimum experience in business/commercial grounds.
- The Groundskeeper fulfills the mission by maintaining a neat, clean, safe, and organized environment
- The Groundskeeper assists the staff by ensuring that organization is well maintained for its purpose
- The Groundskeeper has decision making responsibilities within essential job functions, in keeping with organizational policies
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Skill in critical thinking and planning
- Required to perform strenuous walking, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing, climbing, twisting, grasping, and reaching overhead
- Required to work in various climate conditions
Applicant Must Be Proficient In the Following and have a minimum of 5 years experience for this Senior position:
Basic Mechanical Knowledge of Grounds Equipment
Mowing (***Zero Turn Mower Experience Required***)
Weed Eating
Edging
Blowing
Landscaping
Tree Trimming
Weed Removal
Pressure Washing
Hardscaping Walking Areas
Shifts needed:
Monday-Friday Full Time (7am-4pm) 40 hours a week guaranteed with occasional overtime
Experience/Education:
Minimum 5 years experience in a commercial setting
Starting Pay will be based on experience
Applicant must have reliable transportation and be authorized to work in the US
Applicant must be able to pass background check
Applicant must be 18 years or older
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
