Quality Supervisor – Energy Cable Manufacturing
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead our Quality Department in a dynamic power cable manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring product reliability, compliance with industry standards, and fostering strong customer relationships through quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise quality department staff and oversee calibration, inspection, and testing activities.
- Analyze and interpret industry, customer, and company specifications to establish quality standards.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures to minimize defects and costs.
- Prepare certified test reports for customers and review daily test data for trends and issues.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve processes and resolve non-conforming product issues.
- Respond to customer feedback and drive quality and process improvements.
- Prepare periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and support audits.
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- BS Degree in a related field preferred.
- 5–7 years of related experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Licenses/Certifications:
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex specifications and communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, geometry, trigonometry, and practical math applications.
- Skilled in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and SAP.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
