Role Description
LRW Cutting Tools, Inc. is seeking a dedicated CNC Tool Cutter Grinder for a full-time, on-site role at our facility in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC cutter grinding machines, producing precision cutting tools, performing tool reconditioning, conducting quality checks, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the production team to meet customer requirements while adhering to tight deadlines and high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in CNC Tool Cutter Grinding, including machine setup, tool programming, and operating CNC equipment
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators for quality checks
- Knowledge of tooling designs, cutting geometries, and material properties relevant to aerospace, automotive, or related industries
- Understanding of machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation in a manufacturing setting
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to meet tight deadlines while ensuring precision and safety
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in machining or CNC technologies preferred
- Previous experience in the cutting tool or precision manufacturing industry is a plus
