Your main responsibilities will include:Technical Quality Assurance:Review quality assurance work for technical completeness, accuracy, and provide expert guidance on plans, specifications, and applicable code interpretation.Schedule and Methodology Evaluation:Assess contractor schedules for sequencing, construction methodology, and contract compliance, ensuring all plans align with best practices and regulatory requirements.Comprehensive Project Documentation:Document and review principal construction features, requirements, submittals, shop drawings, and more. Maintain real-time awareness of contractor activities to proactively address and avoid government-caused construction delays.Change Management:Evaluate proposed changes to project scopes, requirements, and timelines. Prepare detailed, expert-level information to support government negotiation teams and assist with change order management and documentation.Contract Administration Consulting:Advise government personnel on construction contract administration, acquisition management, and federal construction regulations.
