Position Overview
The High End Video Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of advanced video systems for live events, corporate productions, and large-scale shows. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with professional AV equipment, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced production environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both in the warehouse and on-site, ensuring all video systems are properly prepared, deployed, and executed to meet the high standards our clients expect. The Video Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of video systems for live events. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with professional AV equipment, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform under pressure in high-profile productions.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and strike video systems including LED walls, projectors, cameras, and switchers.
- Collaborate with the production team to execute the client’s creative vision with technical precision.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly during events to ensure flawless execution.
- Maintain, test, and prep video equipment in the warehouse for upcoming productions.
Qualifications
- 5 years of professional AV experience with a focus on video systems.
- Must be available for frequent travel in support of live events and production schedules.
- Strong knowledge of LED processors, projection mapping, video switching, and broadcast cameras.
- Experience working in live event environments with corporate clients, festivals, or large productions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and production documentation.
