Your role:
LR Paris is seeking a self-directed, resourceful individual to lead the HR function as the sole internal contributor. You will be pivotal in building the long-term HR infrastructure while fostering a performance-driven workplace culture that mirrors our core values. You will work closely with leadership to understand the evolving HR needs of the business, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain the best talent and achieve our goals.
What you will do:
General HR Responsibilities:
- Identify impactful people strategies and policies that enable the organization to perform effectively and scale efficiently as it grows
- Guide the implementation of functional and foundational HR initiatives and strategies
- Continually implement updates and upgrades to our HR processes that elevate the experience and efficiency of these processes, and align with organizational goals
- Oversee the design and implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies
- Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and promote career growth
- Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance appraisals
- Respond to general inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, timecards, etc., from employees and leadership
- Administer compensation and benefits plans, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our financial objectives
- Provide guidance on legal compliance and HR best practices
Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Conduct the new hire process, including preparing and presenting offer letters, reviewing company policies and benefits, and processing new hire paperwork
- Coordinate, plan, and schedule onboarding sessions that introduce new employees to our culture and expectations
- Maintain and update job descriptions for all positions
- Manage the exit interview process and database, using feedback to improve retention strategies
- Administer the unemployment process by providing vendors with necessary information and documentation regarding employee separation
Recruiting Coordination:
- Support hiring manager in developing accurate and attractive job descriptions
- Manage online posting and initial resume review
- Develop screening process and support building interview questions to support proper assessment of candidates’ knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Coordinate all candidate communication, scheduling, and interview logistics
- Conduct reference checks
- Support offer creation and final negotiation

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4-8 years of HR experience, preferably in creative or luxury goods industries.
- Comprehensive understanding of labor laws and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Proven conflict resolution and team-building skills.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong ability to work independently and directly collaborate with executive leadership.

Salary : $78,000 - $90,000
