Piano Teacher

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a love for teaching students of all ages. This role involves providing high-quality piano instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring students to develop their musical talents.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
• Teach piano techniques, music theory, and performance skills to students of varying ages.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes creativity and self-expression.
• Organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements and build confidence.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
• Stay updated on current teaching methods and curriculum development in music education.

Skills

• Strong background in early childhood education, with the ability to engage young learners effectively.
• Experience working with children in various educational settings, including preschool or classroom environments.
• Knowledge of curriculum development for music education that aligns with educational standards.
• Familiarity with other artistic disciplines such as ballet, theater, or photography is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate concepts clearly and inspire students.
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability in teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
