About the Role

LQC is seeking a Supply Chain & Operations Analyst to support inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, demand planning, warehouse coordination, and operational reporting across our U.S. supply chain.

This is a hands-on, entry-level role for someone who enjoys working with data while also solving real operational problems.

You will work across multiple areas of the business—from tracking international containers and warehouse inventory to monitoring customer orders, analyzing demand, reconciling data, and improving operational processes.

What You'll DoInventory & Supply Planning

  • Monitor inventory across warehouses, third-party logistics providers, Amazon fulfillment centers, and other inventory locations.
  • Prepare weekly inventory, replenishment, and product availability reports.
  • Compare inventory against customer orders, forecasts, promotions, and projected demand.
  • Identify potential stockouts, excess inventory, slow-moving products, and other supply risks.
  • Assist with inventory allocation, transfers, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Investigate discrepancies between warehouse inventory and internal systems.

Order Management & Fulfillment

  • Monitor customer purchase orders from receipt through shipment and delivery.
  • Review orders for SKU, quantity, pricing, ship dates, warehouse location, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with warehouses and logistics partners to support accurate and timely fulfillment.
  • Track open orders, backorders, shortages, partial shipments, and delivery issues.
  • Investigate order and shipment discrepancies and coordinate resolution with internal and external partners.
  • Support new customer and new-item setup, SKU transitions, and product discontinuations.

Logistics & Transportation

  • Track inbound international shipments, container arrivals, warehouse receipts, and expected product availability.
  • Maintain visibility into shipment timelines and identify delays that may impact inventory or customer orders.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and logistics providers.
  • Monitor outbound shipments and investigate delayed, short, damaged, or incorrectly delivered orders.
  • Maintain shipping and logistics documentation including bills of lading and proof of delivery.
  • Support freight-cost analysis and operational improvement projects.

Forecasting & Analytics

  • Assist with weekly and monthly demand forecasts by SKU, customer, and channel.
  • Compare historical sales, open orders, promotions, seasonality, and inventory to support forecasting.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and investigate significant variances.
  • Build and maintain Excel and Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Analyze inventory turnover, weeks of supply, fulfillment performance, order volume, freight costs, and product movement.
  • Identify operational trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate findings to management.
  • Support reporting automation and process improvement initiatives.

ERP, EDI & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate SKU, customer, vendor, pricing, pack-size, GTIN, warehouse, and logistics information.
  • Reconcile information across ERP systems, accounting systems, warehouses, retailer portals, distributors, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Assist with EDI transactions including purchase orders, invoices, shipment information, and item setup.
  • Investigate item-mapping errors, system discrepancies, missing information, and transaction issues.
  • Help improve workflows and reduce manual reporting through automation and better system integration.

Warehouse & E-Commerce Operations

  • Communicate with third-party warehouses regarding receiving, inventory, shipments, transfers, and discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory and fulfillment across Amazon, Shopify, Faire, and other e-commerce channels.
  • Support Amazon FBA inventory planning and inbound shipments.
  • Reconcile e-commerce orders, returns, fulfillment status, and inventory with internal records.
  • Help coordinate inventory across retail, wholesale, B2B, and e-commerce channels.

Documentation & Cross-Functional Support

  • Maintain organized supply chain, customer, product, and logistics documentation.
  • Support requests for product specifications, certificates of analysis, organic certifications, FSMA-related records, and other operational documents.
  • Work closely with sales, accounting, marketing, warehouses, logistics providers, and management.
  • Communicate inventory risks, shipment delays, and fulfillment issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Help develop and document standard operating procedures as the company continues to grow.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Analytics, Economics, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with data, reports, spreadsheets, and multiple business systems.

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP, inventory management, accounting, or EDI systems.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Odoo, Amazon Seller Central, retailer portals, or warehouse management systems.
  • Exposure to supply chain, logistics, inventory management, retail, e-commerce, or consumer packaged goods.
  • Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.

We are looking for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, curious, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of operational problems from identification through resolution.

This role provides hands-on exposure to the full supply chain of a global consumer packaged goods company, including demand planning, inventory management, international logistics, warehouse operations, EDI, retailer fulfillment, ERP systems, e-commerce operations, supply chain analytics, and process improvement.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
