Job Overview:
The Collections Analyst will be a part of the Loan Servicing & Collections team within LPL’s Finance Division. Loan Servicing & Collections is tasked with all aspects of providing LPL’s advisors capital to support acquisitions, retention, and growth initiatives. This role is focused on collections management, loan monitoring, and reporting. Strong communication, analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills are required. The candidate should be able to effectively prioritize while being efficient and accurate. The ability to work within a team, take initiative, show strong attention to detail, and be flexible are also requirements.

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Responsibilities:
- Perform daily collection activities to reduce delinquencies, minimize loan losses, and protect LPL’s assets.
- Analyzes, evaluates and makes recommendations to reduce advisor receivable and loan delinquencies.
- Work with advisors to determine reason for delinquency and establish payment arrangements.
- Utilizes critical thinking and negotiation skills to resolve difficult situations.
- Supports department and corporate goals and objectives.
- Work with other LPL departments to help minimize monthly past due and open AR balances.
- Review and track outstanding AR reporting
- Prepare invoices and delinquent notifications to advisors for AR balances
- Coordinate with CM on loan AR balances
- Superior communication skills when speaking with active and termed advisors about advisor receivables and/or loan balances.
- Effectively handles escalated, charged off, or calls with internal legal counsel.
- Assisting with reporting requests to analyze current loan portfolio and team performance.
- Work closely with internal LPL departments on different projects and initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- 3 years of applicable experience collecting on business loans
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years of experience with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Must have the ability to work well individually and as a member of a collections team
- Must be self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to appear for work on time, follow direction from supervisor, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow policies and procedures and accept constructive criticism
- Background in loan collections, credit policy, and credit risk
- Experience analyzing, interpreting, and presenting financial results
- Demonstrate knowledge of LPL platform, products and services
- Experience interacting with advisors and in wealth management industry
- Experience working with Oracle, Fiserv or Salesforce
