What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Facilitator position at LPKNC?
Company Description
At LPKNC, we build strong, connected communities by empowering youth and families across Tucson. Our focus is mental health, substance misuse prevention, and positive youth development—but we do it with energy, love, and creativity. We believe learning should be interactive, relationships should be real, and everyone deserves to be heard.
Role Description
We're looking for someone who lights up a room—and knows how to guide meaningful conversations once everyone’s there. As a Program Facilitator, you’ll be the frontlines of our mission: leading dynamic, engaging workshops with youth, parents, and community members across Tucson.
This full-time, in-person role is perfect for someone who thrives on interaction, adapts quickly, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You’ll facilitate evidence-based and informed programs, co-lead community events, and collaborate with schools and local partners to create safe, inclusive spaces for growth and learning. Whether it’s helping teens talk about mental health or coaching parents through conversations about substance misuse, you’ll make an impact—one relationship at a time.
Qualifications

- You have strong facilitation and public speaking skills—and enjoy adapting your energy for youth, parents, or professionals
- You know how to keep people engaged, whether in a school gym, Zoom room, or community center
- You understand positive youth development and trauma-informed approaches—or are eager to learn
- You’re organized, dependable, and able to manage your own schedule and deadlines
- You work well with diverse communities and believe collaboration
- You have some experience in education, youth work, social work, psychology, or community health
- You bring ideas to the table—and also help bring other people’s ideas to life
- You have reliable access to a car and are willing to travel locally across Tucson
