LPD Engineering is a dynamic, woman-owned civil engineering firm specializing in innovative projects. We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Office Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Office Management: Oversee daily office operations, including supply ordering, maintenance, and facilities management, and light IT work.
- Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support to our engineering team and HR, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, reviewing resumes, and conducting phone interviews.
- Project Coordination: Assist with project management tasks, such as tracking deadlines, preparing reports, reviewing project contracts, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors.
- Financial Assistance: Support accounting functions, including accounts receivable and payable.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and vendors, handling inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Familiarity with BillQuick software (a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the architecture or engineering industry (preferred)
Compensation: $30 to $40 per hour, depending on experience.
