What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at LPC?
About the Company
Lewisburg Patterson Company (LPC) is a print and packaging platform with a 125-year legacy, operating manufacturing locations across Tennessee, Illinois, and Texas. We produce custom, made-to-order printed products for the corrugated packaging, folding carton, and visual marketing industries — every job is unique, and getting it right for the customer is the whole business.
We're investing heavily in modern equipment and digitizing our processes as we grow. We're looking for people who take ownership, communicate well under pressure, and care about doing right by the customer.
The Role
The Client Success Specialist is the customer's main point of contact from job kickoff through delivery. Because every order is custom — different artwork, different specs, different approval chains — this role requires someone who can track detail closely, coordinate across internal teams, and keep the customer informed and confident every step of the way.
This is not a call-center or transactional support role. You'll build real, lasting relationships with a portfolio of accounts. Our best people in this role are the ones customers specifically ask for by name.
What You'll Do
- Own the customer relationship on assigned accounts — you're their trusted point of contact, not a ticket queue.
- Manage artwork proof and approval cycles: route proofs, track down approvals, and keep jobs moving without missing a step.
- Coordinate job changes and specification updates between the customer and internal production, prepress, and scheduling teams.
- Enter and track orders accurately in our systems, catching errors before they reach the production floor.
- Proactively follow up — don't wait on a stalled approval or an unanswered question. Chase it down.
- Monitor jobs through production to ensure on-time shipping and delivery, flagging risks early.
- Handle questions, concerns, and issues directly with the customer, and resolve them without letting them linger.
- Communicate regularly with Sales, Production, and Management to keep everyone aligned on account status.
- Follow all company safety requirements and customer service procedures.
What We're Looking For
- A relationship-builder — someone customers trust and come to rely on, not just someone who processes orders.
- Sharp attention to detail — able to catch a spec error or a missed approval before it becomes a shipping problem.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple accounts and deadlines at once.
- Clear, confident communicator — comfortable on the phone and coordinating across departments.
- A self-starter who follows through without being reminded.
- Comfortable with computers and order-tracking/MIS systems.
- Good math skills — comfortable working with measurements, quantities, and specs.
Print, packaging, or graphic arts industry experience is a plus but not required. We're just as interested in strong customer service experience and the right relationship-building instinct — we'll train the print side.
Education & Experience
High school diploma required. Experience in customer service, account management, or a similar client-facing role. Print or graphic arts industry background is a plus, not a requirement.
Working Conditions
- Standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

- Some exposure to ink, chemical fumes, and airborne particles such as paper dust.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent schedule and priority changes.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand and use hands to handle materials. Must be able to frequently lift 10–50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
