The Associate Interior Designer will work with the design team within Corporate Advisory & Solutions on all aspects of interior construction projects from conception to completion within a multi-site medical office building portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform site survey of existing conditions and field measurements
  • Produce space plans, pricing plans, design development packages and construction documents
  • Attend construction progress meetings
  • Review contractor submittals and RFI’s during construction
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
  • Handle multiple tasks while remaining detail oriented and delivering results within given timelines
  • Communicate well with clients and team members

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Professional Degree from an accredited Interior Design or Architecture program
  • 2 years of professional experience in commercial or healthcare tenant development environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Ability to multi-task with flexibility to change gears quickly
  • Self-sufficient, yet able to function as part of a team
  • Possess and apply knowledge of basic TAS/ADA state codes and local building codes

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, sit, and use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone.
  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office environment with some extended hours and frequent travel throughout Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex area required.

 

Pay Range

$55,000 - $65,000 USD
