We are seeking a Director of Rehabilitation – Physical Therapy to oversee our hospital-based rehab program and outpatient clinics. This leadership role is 80% outpatient and 20% acute inpatient, ideal for a PT who enjoys both patient care and program management. The DOR will supervise staff, ensure compliance with documentation and productivity standards, collaborate with hospital leadership and referring providers, and help drive clinic growth. Direct patient care is expected as part of the role, with a shared caseload depending on patient volume.
Responsibilities- Lead and support PTs, PTAs, and rehab staff across outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Coordinate therapy services to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Oversee scheduling, productivity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Partner with hospital administration, physicians, and nursing staff to achieve strong outcomes.
- Assist with marketing and referral development to grow clinic and hospital volumes.
- Provide direct patient care (caseload adjusted to balance with leadership duties).
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Texas (required).
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Experience in both outpatient and inpatient/acute care settings is a plus.
