Lead Mover

This job requires a valid drivers license, ability to drive a box truck, and previous moving experience. We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers/Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the packing, loading, and transporting of goods for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong physical abilities, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to ensuring a smooth moving experience for our customers. Applicants should be able to pass a background check and provide a positive driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the packing and unpacking of items for residential and commercial moves.
• Load and unload items from trucks and ensure they are secured properly for transport.
• Drive box trucks or vans along designated routes to transport goods safely to their destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process.
• Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of large items, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and moving vehicles.
• Follow all safety protocols while on the job to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in moving is required
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or vans is required.
• Background Check will be required.
• Reliable Transportation
• DOT Medical card is advantageous, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Willingness to work flexible hours-- open availability is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
