In This Position You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Evaluate security and procedures at various locations.
- Conduct on-site inspections for compliance of security procedures.
- Work with area Police and Sheriff’s departments in dealing with thefts, trespasses, etc.
- Repair faulty locks, knobs and cores.
- Work with area teams and agencies to eradicate protesters and employee drug use.
- Monitor and analyze incident reports and prepare various other reports.
- Investigate property loss.
- Arrange transportation to various locations for security monitoring.
- May operate security booth, answer phone calls, and screen visitors.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Thorough understanding of security procedures and measures.
- Knowledge of Penal codes and patrolling techniques.
- Knowledge of investigation techniques and property loss prevention.
- General locksmith knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Typing skills.
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months’ previous security experience.
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
