Support the plant in performing a combination of various tasks as a member of the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform clean-up and utility duties under direction from supervisor (sweeping floors, picking up trash, painting, cleaning equipment, etc.)
- Examine press panels for surface defects and discard defective parts.
- Assist in packaging of finished products.
- Assist green end operations, including daily cleaning tasks.
- Transfer panels to storage area.
- Conduct complete and accurate recordkeeping.
- Provide general relief in support of line positions during breaks as assigned.
Education (including licenses and certifications):
Minimum Required
- GED or equivalent
Minimum Required:
- Three (3) months of experience.
- Understand and obey all safety policies, standards, and regulations at company, state, and federal levels.
- Recognize and comply with all environmental policies and procedures including spill response, general waste, and wood waste procedures.
- Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
- Ability to use a chainsaw.
