Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience managing master data in an ERP system, if degreed OR minimum of 4 years of experience in managing master data in an ERP system in non-degreed. Knowledge of relational databases and reporting tools.

Essential Job Functions

- Perform routine data quality analysis to ensure data adheres to data governance rules and policies; provide recommendations when a new rule or enforcement of a rule may be required.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of Business Process Procedures documentation for master data transactions and data fields.
- Partner with business data owners to develop new data policies.
- Highly proficient in successfully leading projects entailing project management principals and techniques.
- Provides business partners day to day support for MDM applications through monitoring of metrics, reports and documentation of new requirements.
- Supports the Data Architect with testing systems to support data rules, policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with data and analytics leaders, technical solution developers and business domain stakeholders, such as data stewards and business analysts.
- Produces analytical data and ad hoc reports as directed with good communication skills to translate reporting requests and accurately meet the actual information and deadline needed.
- Troubleshoots issues and errors detected in business processes and/or systems caused by master data issues.
- Partner with data owners to improve and streamline processes regarding data flow, data quality, data accuracy and value.
- Provide support to explain how various teams and leaders can leverage data to improve and streamline their processes.
- Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
- Ability to work and interact well with others.

- Experience in requirements definition, mapping and gap analysis.
- Experience in defining Master Data Management strategies using MDM services and capabilities, Metadata Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutions.
- Experience with enterprise level data analysis and integration work and/or providing data focused systems integration solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to facilitate clear communication of information, ideas, procedures, and processes in a logical sequence, at an appropriate level to the audience.
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities.
- Must be able to organize and prioritize work and keep accurate and detailed records.
- Must have excellent time management skills with the ability to use independent judgment effectively.
- Experience with data policy development, reporting and governance strategies with cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization to achieve objectives and deliverables.
- Teamwork and collaboration with an emphasis on delivery and sharing best practices.
- Intermediate experience with Snowflake, Talend Data Management, Qlik Sense, More4Apps.
- Intermediate experience with data mining/data management solutions with ERP solutions such as SAP or Oracle EBS.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and utilization of Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- ERP experience with item master, product data hub, bills or materials, routings or customer and supplier master data (Oracle, SAP).
