What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Advisor, Maroon position at Loyola University - New Orleans?
The assistant advisor will help the Director of Student Media by acting as a mentor and leader for student journalists working in the on-campus newsroom.The job will consist of spending a minimum of five hours per week in the office during the production of The Maroon, as well as two hours per week in a story planning/ and or critique meeting. Another three hours per week will be spent working with the students individually as needed. Minimum Bachelors degree
Minimum two years experience working within student media
Minimum two years working in the professional media
