| Duties and Responsibilities | We have an immediate opening for a Biostatistician position in Dr. Fares Qeadan's research team in the Public Health Sciences Department within the Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health. We are seeking a highly experienced Biostatistician proficient in SAS and R to help lead and support our research team. The Biostatistician will play a major role in supporting study design, data management, quality assurance, and statistical analysis across a range of public health research projects. This role will involve overseeing large datasets, discerning complex patterns, and generating actionable insights that contribute to advancing our research objectives. The candidate will also mentor junior analysts and participate in high-level research projects. In addition to data analysis, the Biostatistician will contribute to manuscript and grant writing, and foster collaboration with a multidisciplinary research team and external stakeholders; Under general supervision, this position provides consultation on design of data processing and analysis systems, specifying the needed output, the required input and the methods of validation and quality control.
