What You Will Do
- Perform advanced non-invasive echocardiographic imaging for adults, pediatrics, and neonates, including transthoracic, stress, and specialized studies.
- Administer contrast agents (Definity/Optison) per protocol.
- Obtain patient history, verify procedure appropriateness, and communicate critical findings to physicians.
- Complete accurate documentation and measurements for cardiologist interpretation.
- Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and maintain lab accreditation standards.
- Ensure efficient workflow, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety/infection control.
- Deliver excellent patient care and customer service aligned with core values.
- Education: Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred); graduate of an accredited ultrasound program with echocardiography focus.
- Experience: 3–5 years in cardiac ultrasound.
- Certifications: CPR and RDCS required.
- Skills: Proficiency in adult, pediatric, and neonatal echocardiography; ability to identify normal vs. pathological findings; strong communication and judgment.
